Course Overview

Our Office Skills course aims to provide learning opportunities for those who want to progress to employment or further education and require technology skills to bridge that gap. The course covers computer theory and practical applications such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Internet & Email and Database, etc. 

Learners also gain the opportunity to develop in a personal capacity as other modules in the course cover interview skills, CV writing and reception skills. Work Experience is a fundamental part of the course. As such, Learners are offered work-related supports to help with their progression. 

Course graduates can progress to employment such as Restaurants, Hotels, Offices, Shops, etc. or if further education is the preference, TUS (former AIT), Moate Business College and Mullingar Community College PLC’s are regular graduate progression destinations.

We offer a very limited capacity on-demand Level 5 certification to those who complete their level 4 requirements quicker than anticipated.
