Huge Congratulations to the Sport & fitness group who completed their Adventure Journey.
They will now receive the Bronze #Gaisce presidents award. The learners completed a 25km hike over the Wicklow mountains along with an overnight stay in Glendalough youth hostel.
The Gaisce awards are a new part of our Sport & Fitness course which cater for a range of different styles and environments in a self-development approach. An array of different activities and approaches define this unique award and add to the learners journey in Mullingar CTC.
The award requirements culminate into an overnight Adventure Journey where our group of learners completed a 25km hike in the Wicklow Mountains, staying in Glendalough Youth Hostel. The group were met coming down the mountains to a enticing BBQ as a surprise for our learners.

A special mention all the Team involved within Mullingar CTC who organised the event, completed the 25km hike with the learners, organised and cooked the BBQ.
