The Counselling and Support Service provided by Mullingar CTC is a professional, confidential and free service, which is available to all of our Trainees. It offers a safe open and non-judgemental place to discuss whatever their concerns are.

Talking it over with a trained professional can sometimes help to see things more clearly, make choices and develop more effective ways of coping.

Whatever is on your mind, we are here to listen, and help you to achieve your full potential during your time spent at Mullingar CTC.  You may wish to explore academic, personal or mental health concerns.

Common issues that bring our trainees to the counselling and support service include:

  • Stress or Anxiety
  • Relationship Difficulties
  • Depression or Mood Difficulties
  • Grief or Bereavement
  • Sexual / Personal Identity Issues
  • Self-Harm
  • Addiction or Substance Use
  • Low Confidence or Self-Esteem
